Soft play

Soft play is the best place I know of for the children to to let off steam indoors.  If you have never experienced a soft play centre, they are basically indoor adventure playgrounds.  Here are a few we know of around London.

London

  • Blue Kangaroo, Fulham - this is restaurant with a play area for under 7s

  • Bramley's Big Adventure, London W10 - As well as soft play, there is a regular programme of activities such as music and messy play here.

  • Eddie Catz, Putney’s, a playspace for under 5's. It offers a playframe, interactive video and touch screen games, a padded toddler area, a TV lounge and free internet access.

  • Kids Planet - two venues, one in Whetstone and the other in Radlett.

  • PlayAway, Crouch End, for children up to the age of 8

  • Kidzmania - in Clapton, E London, for children up to the age of 12
  • Topsy Turvy, Brent Cross, NW London
  • Clown Town, Colney Hatch, NW London
  • Snakes & Ladders, Syon park, W London
