Pick Your Own Farms

Fun, healthy and educational, what more can you want from an activity.  Children love picking their own food for their dinner, you'll probably find them happy to eat vegetables that they won't usually touch if they have picked them themselves.

There are so many of these farms that it would be impossible to list them all.  However, here are a few...

• Grove Farm, Leighton Buzzard.  This one is recommended by a reader who says:  'An excellent pick your own farm - extremely child friendly with picnic tables and a small play area with a wide selection of fruit and veg and a laid back attitude
• Parkside Farm, Enfield.  Not particularly large but can be combined with a visit to Trent Park nearby. 
• Lathcoats Farm, Chelmsford
• McLaughlans, Colchester
