Heathrow Academy The Heathrow Academy on Bath Road (formerly the Visitor Centre) is closed until Spring 2007. The Academy, only open to the public at weekends & school holidays, includes a new exhibition elebrating some of the highlights of Heathrow past and present whilst speculating on the future of the airport and aviation. Planetarium, Greenwich Most of our children at some point learn about the planets at school. You can extend their learning by taking them to the Neptune Planetarium at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. The shows are generally suitable for the 6+ age group but there is are special shows for the age 0-6 age range at the weekend.

Scott's Grotto, Ware, Herts Scott's Grotto is a series of interconnected chambers, extending some 67ft into the chalk hillside. It is rumoured to have cost £10,000 and is thought to have taken 30 years to complete. The chambers and tunnels are lined with shells, flints and pieces of coloured glass. Stock car & banger racing Stock car racing is a great spectator sport. The kids just love watching the specially adapted cars. Particularly entertaining is watching the cars bash each other up. There are two stadium in/near London - Wimbledon and Bovingdon (near Hemel Hempstead). Wimpbledon is a covered stadium with seating.
